Dim Wits in Bright Lights
is CowPattyCreek's 2nd studio offering.  17 years in the making, Dim Wits embodies the heart, mind, and soul of our ensamble... rockin rhythms and stupid stories. We did sprinkle a few tear jerking ballads in for you sentimental types.  You might even find a few nuggets of Gospel truth here and there.  So sit back and hang on!

I Work in the Garden
Luke wrote this amusing (somewhat familiar) accolade for his kids.  Oh how they loved to help him in the garden.
I work in the garden alone
cause the kids, they just will not help me
I did bid them please, won't you pull some weeds
my back is aching, tremendously

but, they said no way, we would rather play
but if you pay us we might reconsider
you see we may be lazy, but we are not crazy
we'll do it for ten bucks an hour

so I said to my children one day
dear ol' dad will be taking his last breath
and I bid you please that I may rest in peace
would you grant to me one last request

I would like to have when that last day comes
one of you children on each side of the bed
you see our Savior died with a thief on each side
please let me die like he did
